The Badlands Bowie is just about as menacing as a folding knife can get. It is outfitted with not only an intimidating look but a set of features that allow it to shine as a tactical and/or survival tool. Once you get past the Bowie blade that gives the Badlands its name, you have dual flippers that act as a guard preventing you from sliding forward onto the blade.
The other thing that sets this knife apart from other tactical designs is the ergonomics. The addition of a second finger groove and the slight curvature of the overall shape (both not found on the original Butcher) make this knife extremely pleasant to hold and use. It features a ball-bearing pivot, roller-ball pocket clip, replaceable lock bar insert/overtravel arrestor, and inset Torx screw pivot.
