Bastinelli Knives (Fox) Mako -
Mako Plain Edge Fixed Blade, Black Tsukamaki Handle Wrap with Bronze Menuki
The Mako fixed blade comes from a collaboration between Bastinelli Creations, Funker
Tactical, and Doug Marcaida of History's Forged in Fire. It's an evolution of Doug's
original PicoloMako design which became the Mako folder and now the Mako fixed
blade. It retains elements from all the designs but stands alone, different from its
predecessors. It's longer, thinner, more capable, yet just as refined and it's become a
personal favorite straight away.
The full tang blade measures 4.625" in length, made from N690Co stainless steel with a
black PVD stonewashed finish. The custom tsukamaki cord wrap with skulls and swords
bronze menuki and you have a one-inch diameter pinky ring for maximum security
during tactical maneuvers. The friction fit Kydex sheath includes a Tek-Lok style
retention clip so you can carry it in a number of different orientations depending on your
preference. Fit it to your belt or hang it around your neck, this knife makes both a great
tactical tool as well as a functional EDC fixed blade. Manufactured by Fox Knives in
