The Paradox series is designed from the ground up to mimic a traditional balisong, or butterfly knife, in every respect but one--it can't be opened with one hand. The handles rotate 180 around the blade's unique split tang and uses strong opposing spring tension to lock the blade open or hold it firmly closed. It has a stainless steel pocket clip and it is made in Taiwan. The Cold Steel Paradox 5-1/2" Blade features a Japanese AUS-8A stainless steel blade with aluminum handles. It has a 5-1/2" blade that is 1" wide, 1/8" thick, and 6-1/2" closed.
