So he set to work designing a small folder with no locking mechanism that instills confidence in the end-user. The first thing you'll notice about the Field Duty EDC is what its name would suggest; a tool more suitable for everyday carry than its predecessor. In addition to its smaller size, it's got a more pronounced finger choil and thumb ramp which promotes you to choke up on the blade during use. The Field Duty EDC is built with a carbon fiber monoblock construction inspired by Strider Knives, yielding enhanced strength and lightness. The modified spear point blade is Elmax stainless steel for added piercing performance and edge retention.
